Opposite the church are two cafes, Cafe | Tastebuds At The Wharf | Rufford and Home - The Boathouse Rufford both are favourites with us and have bathrooms if needed.
At St Mary's Marina lives our boat Catalina you can see in the photos below!
After the service, we have reserved a space for everyone at the Hesketh Arms, a favourite with Mum and Dad for BBQ chicken wings!
Guests of the church service are able to park in the pub car park if there isn't room near to the church. It's about a 5 minute walk to the church.
Angela was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in January 2024. Treatments for this condition have not greatly improved in 40 years and the Brain Tumour Charity raises funds and awareness. They have also provided a valuable support group for us this year.
The Sheffield Trophoblastic Disease Centre based at Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield provided Naomi with curative treatment from October 2023 to February 2024, saving her life for which we will always be so grateful.
in 2015-2016 Paul received life saving treatment for prostate cancer from Clatterbridge and earlier this year Angela received radiotherapy to provide us with valuable extra time with her.
